Valentine's Day was on Wednesday :) was a typical IJ Valentine's with girls carrying bags of chocolate, candy, notes, flowers around the school, exchanging hugs & saying 'Happy Valentine's Day'. hahaha and one of the reasons why I really really like 14/02 is because we get to snack on our bars of chocolate during class YAY. anyway, thank you friends for all the loveeee :)
Moving on, CNY mass yesterday was considered quite a success! everything about the celebrations went relatively well, save for the fact that we got scolded bright & early in the morning for 'inappropriate shoes' which were just good ol' converse sneakers HA. Met the churchies who were awesome company as usual for a movie & then to Ben's.
On a completely random note, I've been listening to a few of my old favourites like Jimmy Eat World, Coldplay, Copeland. mm really good music, helps to calm the soul and clear the mind. Especially since I've had such a weird week. Weird being having enough things to make you smile but on the other hand, having an equal amount of things that get you all pent up with frustration/anger. but I don't think I'm the only soul on this planet on this rollercoaster so I'll just swallow it all back & quit whining.
plus, I've been thinking: why do people act like they don't care when actually they put in their heart & soul just in hope that something might work out.
Okay, I'm done, have a blast eating pineapple tarts & collecting red packets!
